About Martin Christen

Martin Christen is a lecturer at the Institute of Geomatics Engineering of FHNW - University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (http://www.fhnw.ch/personen/martin-christen/) where he teaches geoinformatics. Martin is a regular speaker on conferences world-wide and publishes articles related to 3D computer graphics. He is the lead developer of OpenWebGlobe (http://www.openwebglobe.org) the open source virtual globe technology using WebGL. His main research interest is geospatial 3D computer graphics - including GPU-programming, terrain-rendering, cloud computing & big data.
